Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT3 robust with Full HD Video

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT3
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT3 is specially designed to outdoor use and has powerful features in a sturdy body. The new 12.1-megapixel FT3 has features like: waterproof to 12m, shockproof to 2m, frost resistant to -10 degrees Celsius and resists dust and dirt. The integrated GPS function, compass, altimeter and barometer make sure that the user can enjoy the active outdoor life.
The LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens in folded optics provides not only a fine image quality but also offers a tough appearance. Thanks to the 28 mm wide angle and a zoom factor to a practical 4, 6 x in the tele-mode offers this camera the flexibility for recordings in almost all situations, in particular under water where the manoeuvre is often limited and the viewfinder capacity is important for the image composition.
With its newly developed 12.1-megapixel high-speed CCD sensor is the DMC-FT 3 compatible with the quick, powerful signal processing needed for recordings in 1920 × 1080 Full HD video in AVCHD and continuous in high speed capture images. And the advanced image editor LSI, the Venus Engine FHD, ensures a high image quality in both photo and video-recordings.

The DMC FT-3 is available from mid March 2011 in the colours blue, silver, red and orange. The price is not yet Known.
